4th Of July Has A Whole New Meaning

What a year it has been. We spent many hours, days, weeks, months, unsure we would see this day again as a family of four. Fourth of July will forever be changed in our house. In the hospital last year, we vowed that if Blake makes it, the 4th would not be marked as a bad day, but fireworks would represent a celebration of Blake’s life and remind us how lucky we are. We’re thankful for the first responders, our family, friends, neighbors, medical team and to all of you who have supported us along the way.

Tonight as you watch the fireworks with your friends and family, give an extra hug to those around you. And we’ll gladly accept some good thoughts for Blake’s future. Life is unpredictable. Sending out lots of love, and hope it’s a safe and happy 4th.
