A Friendly Lizard
This friendly lizard hung out under the stroller for quite a while today. I thought for sure when I opened the screen it would scurry. It didn’t. And when I went to load baby Skye into the stroller I knew it would dart for cover. It didn’t. And as I packed the diaper bag underneath, I knew we were getting too close. It didn’t mind. Scarlett kneeled down next to it. It stayed put. It was so perfectly comfortable with the two girls and our motion around it. I went to grab my phone to capture the moment on camera, it waited patiently. After admiring it closely, we started to kindly ask it to move. As if it understood, it just slowly sauntered out of the way across the patio. Made me smile.
