Each Time This Year

Each year around this time, I find myself reflecting on those long, heavy days we spent in the ICU with Blake. The uncertainty, the exhaustion, the ache of wanting to make it better — and the holidays passing by outside the hospital walls.

That’s why this effort means so much to me. Our Good Deeds #ForBlake Holiday Giving program is one of the most meaningful things we do. Each year, we provide gift cards and words of encouragement to families currently in the ICU at Rady Children’s Hospital — families who are living the reality we once faced.

These gifts might seem small, but to a parent sleeping in a chair next to their child’s bed, they represent comfort, care, and a reminder that they’re not alone.
