Thanksgiving Thoughtfulness

I asked someone if they had big Thanksgiving plans and their response was. “I had some unexpected expenses come up so not doing much.”

I reply “hang on, don’t leave I will be right back.”

Run to Ralphs grab a turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls butter, pumpkin pie and cool whip.

Hurry back and unload 3 bags of food and before I can get the 3rd bag out of my truck he tears up and gives me a giant hug. He says “I will pay you back I promise.” I tell him “I don’t want you to pay me back. I just want you to have a nice Thanksgiving with your family.”
