Blake Bowls

In light of recent world events, we at Ramen Head have put a lot thought in ways that we can give back to our community. We do believe despite the panic and chaos, that Rockwall is filled with kind and caring people that are willing to also give back to those in need given an opportunity. We have been involved in a movement since the beginning of a young boy’s story named Blake. Blake was 14 months old and lost his life tragically due to a heart condition. His story hit close to home for us and his amazing family has chosen to honor him in the most selfless way of spreading the word of paying it forward.

The sadness from this heavy loss brought life to an amazing movement of kindness that is spreading world wide to honor and bring purpose to a tragic situation. In honor of #ForBlake we will be starting a program here in our restaurant called the “Blake Bowl.”

A “Blake Bowl” will be available for purchase for $12 to anyone who would like to donate a meal to someone locally in our community that is in need. You will be given an opportunity to write a kind note if you wish or donate anonymously. We will match bowl for bowl to anyone who donates. These vouchers will hang proudly in our restaurant and we will provide a free meal to those in need who come in with no questions asked with a voucher to see that it has come from a real person from someone who cares. Bowls are available now as we have pledged many to get started.

With the chaos of this new world situation it is important for us to do our part to continue spreading kindness, showing humanity, faith and grace to those in need. To date we have been able to provide over 100 Blake bowl to people in need. And many other customers have been recipients of kind deeds with special additions added to their orders with Blake’s story attached.
