A garage door tech was working at our house much longer than expected today, so I took him out a sandwich, chips, sodas, and water. He was shocked, so I told him a little bit about what we’re doing in Blake’s name. The tech has kids of his own, so we chatted about being parents, and then he told me that he did an installation at the home of an 85 year old man last night. The tech stayed at the man’s home until after midnight, because the man recently lost his wife, so the tech kept him company, listening, and praying. He said he felt like this was something good for the world that Blake might like, and that he would look for another opportunity to pay it forward as well…
