Love From Afar

I live in Guam. A friend who lives here needed experts and surgery that could not be done on island. She spent the last 6 days in Minnesota for appointments and her surgery today. When she left Guam, she had to go without her husband or children because of the unknowns and time away, none of which was easy. Luckily, she’s had a few family and friends be able to be with her while so far from home and through surgery and recovery. Since the majority of her close friends and family are all so far away, there isn’t much we can do but she’ll have some flowers and magazines and games to hopefully keep her occupied and let her know we’re thinking of her while she recovers.
