Sweeten Someone’s Day

I work in a Federal building on Guam, needless to say the security guards get pretty bored because not a whole lot of people are coming into the building. I brought them and the cleaners some treats from the bakery to sweeten their day. One of the guards who knows I’m new to the island and on my own then encouraged me to come to his family BBQ this weekend (a big cultural tradition here) because his brother is coming in from off island.
