I was sitting in my wheelchair in the Atlanta airport lined up behind 8 other older people in their wheelchairs. I’m on crutches from knee surgery but am probably more mobile than most of my fellow “wheelchairians” so I immediately thought of Blake and got up and offered to go buy anyone in a wheelchair anything they may want (meal, snack, bottle of water, etc). While no one took me up on my offer, they were all delighted to be acknowledged. Their bright smiles and gratitude were enough to make my day. These are the small gestures that Blake continues to inspire. Much love!
